Hi!
New forum member, old sailor! I have a stretch righting system that has no more stretch. Is it very easy to replace the shock cord or would I be better off just removing what's left or the shock cord and converting it to a Hawaiian type system?

get some new shock cord, open the end, tie a short piece of string, rope to it, then tie the new shock cord to it, pull it through the old outer sleeve.
