Yes, FFIII includes the battery, mount and a long wire, so you can place the battery in the aft hatch.

In the USA, if you ordered one on-line, I would think 10 days? We do batches of mailings, so wouldn't mail the same day are requested.

Dealers have copies too, or order here: http://www.hobiecat.com/catalog-request/

Thanks, Matt.

I thought Hobie customers automatically receioved new catalogs.

We mail within the USA to a list of 2 year or newer contacts generated from boat warranty registrations and catalog requests.

Would be the dimensions of the battery itself...

REMCO RM 12-9HR (12V8AH/20HR)

Battery looks like 5 7/8" Wide x 3 11/16" Tall x 2 1/2" Depth (laying in the holder)

Just a quick note from Down Under - the new battery box will not fit under the standard Hobie front hatch liner on the Outback, make sure you add enough power cable during your install to run the power from the back 8" twist lock position if you have, or plan to have, a front liner.
You can probably tell I learn this the hard way
:?
