A question for Rich V or Jacques or Moyra or Karen-Ann...or others....

I have bought and installed a Tiger spin set up, originally supplied by Jeremy at Surf City...
(Jeremy sold it to Clint, I bought it from Clint when he sold his 18).
So far so good, EXCEPT the retrieval is not as smooth as I would like.
The short lengths of line from the snuffer patches to the retrieval line should be how long?
I started with 4" each...then lengthened the middle one to 6" and the lower one to 14", and the
retrieve was much better.
Is this a trial and error thing? Or does someone have suggestions?

Trying to get ready for the Ottawa Grand Prix Skiff & Cat regatta, June 1 & 2...
not much time to get it right.

First sail of the season last night...We had great fun in the usual Weds night Club races...505's, Albacores, a WETA, a F16, three Tornado's and my SX18....the spin definitely helps...and we do have a learning curve ahead of us, which will be fun.

We did find out that Hobie's go better if you set the rudders on the correct way....I had switched starboard for port....oops.

This weekend is the Ottawa Grand Prix Regatta....nine cats altogether.

Thanks again.
