Many have complained that the ScrewBall installed on a GearTrac on the left/port side of the kayak can/will loosen up when a fish strikes.
RAM has addressed this problem (w/input from YakAttack) with the RAM 1" & 1.5" Quick Release Track Base.

How strong is that connection to the the track compared to the standard screwball track screw? Anyone have this system and can comment?

I really don't understand why YakAttack doesn't sell screwballs with both left and right hand threads. That would easily solve the problem....
