Question for you guys.

I have finally got the Cad layout made of the mounting boards (MB) for the PA. My plans are to custom make my own Boards. Now that I have the original MB’s laid out I can now use that as my base to build from. Here’s where I need your input.

1.Instead of drilling holes into the side of the PA to mount LED’s why not run the MB over the outside edge the width of your LED strips? That way it’s mounted, shining into the water and only drill a hole on the top edge of the PA located under the MB. All that’s needed to do that is make a channel in the MB underneath to the hole, and seal it. Now this is only for bait fishing lights, not navigation. Thoughts?

2.If you had a chance to custom make a MB to hold things what would you like to add?
I’m thinking hook Pliers, a couple bungee strap locations, and cuts along the edge to hold lures.

I drilled about a half dozen holes along the edge to hang hooks/lures. When fishing saltwater, you don't want to put them back in your tackle box or all will end up rusted. I just hang them through the holes and then when I get home I know which ones need a good freshwater/soapy bath.
