I would think if a 27 year old boat for $2500 is a steal, $5500 for an 11 year old boat is fair.

Its hard to tell how much the frame is faded or if its just the lighting. Some angles the frame looks better than others. I'l have to ask the guy about it. Thanks for your help everyone!

Shouldn't the price of a boat be what someone will pay for it? My question about the '02 boat was me wondering what other people would pay for it. I think I have some idea after everyone's comments. Thanks guys.

I sold my old Boomer H16 and to come up with the money. It turned out to be a lot of time and elbow grease.

So, Zach, did we go through all this discussion just so you could flip this boat for a profit?

I plan on keeping this Hobie for a long time. It's a very nice boat. But everyone has a price that they would be willing to sell their boat for if they had the chance. I'm just advertising it. I apologize if someone got the wrong impression.

If he puts some time, money into it and can sale it for a bit more than he paid, then he may turn around and pick up say a 2006 or newer......... who knows.......
