So my rudder is rubbing at the midway point on the keel of my PA. Clearly needs adjusting just not sure what to adjust. Anyone know what to do?

Pic isnt gonna show much, a PA has a keel that ends in front of the the rudder. When the rudder crosses midship the forward part of the rudder is rubbing on the keel and i can feel it in the handle and it takes effort to get it to crossover. It needs some type of adjusting to move the rudder aft.

I just looked at mine (pa12). I have 2 to 3" of clearance between the front of the rudder and any part of the boat. Picture may help if you can see where it is rubbing. Pop the steering cover I bet the problem is there.

I think I unloaded it out of my truck bed into the sand and it got jammed forward so once in the water it was hard to pass the rudder but midship but the nexttime I went out in the ocean it was fine
