Just pick up a used Getaway after sailing a sunfish for the last 30 plus years.
I'm going to trailer it any tips as to where to tie it down on the trailer

There is a slit between the hull and the front trampoline just where the two tramps meet. You can slide a tie down threw there, depending on your trailer. I just use two tie downs. My neighbors Getaway has a different trailer and he uses four tie downs two in the very front and two in the rear.

One note, make sure the ratchets on the tie downs don't contact the hulls. They will scratch and permanently mark the hulls.

I have a genesis trailer, 2 straps, one that goes around the front hulls and one that goes around the back. The ratchets are in the middle, so that they don't touch the hulls-bought them at a local boat supply store.
