Didn't feel like staying home Friday... Got a chance to take the boat out for a quick little ride. The sunrise was beautiful as usual. There was a light breeze with variable winds. Just enough to keep the bugs from becoming a real problem. Got in the water about 10 minutes before sunrise and headed out in search of some action. At first it didn't look very promising. The bait was keeping a very low profile. After a little while the lagoon came to life and out of nowhere bait was exploding all around me. Don't know where they came from, but they were there. Wind is dying down and the weather is looking good right now.... Tomorrow looks even better....

Redfish is on my bucket list, but I always go offshore because its closer to me (Broward county)

I need to go out there sometime... I have not been offshore in several years. More like 14 years now....!
