I have a 2011 pro angler 14. Anyone have any advice on accessing the nuts in order to remove the mounting boards? I have a mod in mind but only if I can remove the boards then get them back on.

If it's the same setup like my 2012, the 2 front screws have nylon nuts on the back sides. You would have to take the rod tunes out to access those screws as it can't be done while the rod tubes are installed. On the 2013 model they made all the mounting board screws going into recessed threaded bases so it's a lot easier to remove them.

I was actually able to reach the nuts using a socket and a long socket extension. Removing a the rod holders is a huge pain.

Removing the rod tubes is a pain but the easiest way for accessing the nuts that hold the accessory boards on. Like TDK said you can probably finagle a wrench or socket in there too. Next time we have one go thru the shop I'll try to take a peek at it.
