purchasing damaged getaway... needs parts

I am purchasing a Getaway that was damaged in a wind storm... mast is bent and front tramp is torn.... can anyone provide guidance as to where is the best source for replacement mast and tramp? Is the mast interchangeable with any other hobie models in case I can find some used parts or a boat being parted out? any guidance would be awesome! Hope to be up and sailing soon!

I replaced my front tramp this summer. In trying to save some money, I purchased aftermarket from SLO sails and it has worked great this summer. Is about half the cost of OEM, but I'm guessing it won't last as long.

If your mast is bent, I'm guessing it is the aluminum section and not the comp tip? I was told by the owner of a hobie dealer nearby that you can salvage either part of the mast and re-attach the sections in the middle after (somehow) separating the epoxy. I think each section is around 1000 dollars. If you look on the official hobie getaway website, they have the parts manual in a pdf with all the parts numbers. http://static.hobiecat.com/digital_asse ... _Parts.pdf Google the parts number and you'll come up with a few sailing sites that sell Hobie stuff. I've found most prices to be very similar. I order most of mine from backyard boats in Virginia. Always very helpful on the phone.

I had a closer look at the boat today... the lower section of the mast Is certainly toast. I utilized the schematics on hobie's webpage and found several suppliers at a cost of around $900 or so. My question is, if I order the "mast lower section", does it come with everything I need for install? Do I end up having to salvage hardware or fittings from the old mast? If so, are any of these hardware pieces recommended for me to purchase new rather than salvaging? I want to be able to order everything I need at one time so I don't get stuck in the middle of the project. any suggestions would be super helpful.

Also... this is the serial number from the boat.... can anyone tell me what year this is? (or even if I have the right number... this one was inscribed on the forward cross member near the starboard outside edge of the hull)

good news... I got everything I need to be 100% back on the water... found a used mast, ordered the tramp from SLOsails, new jib coming from a 2012 boat in Miami, picked up a trailer and fixed it up.... boat is good to go... thanks for the advice! Once all is installed and she has been water tested, it will be up for sale.
