Hi there, since nobody else has stepped in to respond I thought I might offer the following in the hope that it is useful and/or gets others to pick up the baton...
I have never sailed a PA but I did see a report somewhere on these forums from someone who was sailing a PA & he was quite complimentary about the experience.
I think it will be fine as long as you are conservative in your approach to sailing (you probably wouldn't want to risk a capsize with all the gear you are likely to have on that containership of a kayak
and as long as you don't expect to be able to make too much progress into the wind - the lack of a daggerboard mitigates against scintillating upwind performance (though on the other boats you can usually gain some ground against the wind with no daggerboard just by using the fins to provide some additional lateral resistance so the same is probably true for the PA)
Anyone else out there got any direct experience?
