Anyone know when the 2014 PA will be released to sell or info on any changes that might have been made.

The feeling I'm getting from the folks I communicate with is that there probably will not be any changes until the 2015 model. Other models are getting some tweaks, but not the PA.

Just purchased a 2014 PA14 last week and from what I can tell so far, they added a BOA rudder tension control knob to the port side. This allows easy adjustment to the rudder line. It looks/works like the lumbar adjustment on the Vantage seat back.

Don't know if this is new to 2014 or not (as I only had a 2010 PA14 to compare it to) but pertaining to the mounting boards... front/top bolts do not pass through the hull and into the rod tube area. Nuts are all inset into the mold itself, so if you need to replace your mounting board or mount your *H-Bar using the front hole...things are much easier.

*If you use the front hole for the H-Bar install, will need to purchase a little longer bolt. (2) one for each side.

Best regards, JoeyB

Joey,

Congrats on the new PA! Looking forward to some pictures of the new ride. I'd be curious to see that rudder tension setup. BTW, the 2013 PA14 has the same front screw configuration as the 2014 model. It does make removing the boards a lot easier. Best of luck and "tight lines!"

Oh good, thanks for the pics!

That is a welcome addition :)

Can you tell if they have beefed up the keel at all? That's one area I'd like to see a bit more protection to being such a heavy boat it does get more scratches that the other models.
