Got a Hobie Livewell and it only came with one tube so not sure if its the correct length for the ProAngler?

The plastic pickup fitting just barley pokes out from underneath.

Can someone tell me what the correct length of longer tube should be?

Per current instructions:

Recommended Tube Cut Lengths:
Sport= 4.5"
Outback= 4.5"
Adventure= 4"
Quest= 5-1/4"
ProAngler and Revolution= No Cutting
Needed

My wife just bought me one also, brand-new came with two tubes the shorter tube just barely stuck out the bottom and was what was recommended. When I put it in the water and peddled it would not pick up the water I had to use the longer tube to get it down below a little bit to force the water up better

Newer versions of the Livewell went to the longer tube standard. As noted above. The only important thing to know is that the tube has to extend out the scupper hole and face forward, so when you pedal, the pump can prime.

Thanks for the replies but still curious on the length of the longer now standard tube. Without a length how can I be sure I don't have the old shorter tube?

Well... longer than the 5 1/4" is a start. Does it stick out the bottom of the boat?

The catalog says the PA length tube is 7"
