I was a little concerned when I got my pro angler when I saw 2white dots just before the mirage drive on the bottom, I thought a fast one had been pulled on me, until I saw a post when someone asked about the 2 dots. So, can anyone enlighten me, so I can get some sleep again, I hate thinking I've been ripped off.

I've never seen white dots except when whacked on the head. They were more like stars
Seriously, I have no idea, sorry I can't help.
Will follow this with interest.
Cheers,
Rod

I have them on mine. I'm sure they are supposed to be there and are part of the production process. I think both my 2012 and 2013 have them, but would have to look tonight. . Maybe Matt Miller will be able to provide an explanation.

They're plastic inserts which cap the indents where certain fittings are molded into the hull there for the mast tube, V-brace nut, etc. More of a finishing touch than anything else.

Tom thank you so much! I love this place, and I once again have that warm feeling when I see the monstrosity hanging from my ceiling in the garage!! I would be out today but of course my 1 day to myself are plagued by 25 to 35 mph gusts..

All the more reason to buy yourself another kayak - an Adventure or Tandem Island so you can be out there enjoying those gusts.

I can understand the reasoning to maybe purchase a sail kit, but a new boat, well my wife would hang me by my dingy.
