Hey guys, I need some information.
I've been looking for some clubs and fleets here in the east coast of florida, near Boca Raton, but haven't found much, only a few old posts. One good club I saw was the Palm Beach sailing club, but unfortunately is a little bit too far from me.
So, any sailor from south florida has a club or fleet that you really like?

Thank you,
Rafa.

Hi Rafa,
Thank you for your inquiry into Hobie fleets. We have a semi active Hobie fleet in Fort Lauderdale right of the beach. We are looking to make the club more active and will be trying to implement some changes in the coming months. There are members that meet every Sunday on the beach across from the hotel and marina called Bahia Mar. The clubs name is Cat44 and which is Hobie Fleet 44. Please like us on Facebook to get the latest club news. There is also a pretty active fleet and club in St Pete who have club races twice a month. I'll drive over occasionally to participate in racing over there. Our local dealer is Nautical Ventures who are about to open their massive new store. Nautical Ventures can solve all your Hobie needs and have a awesome spare parts collection. We would love to have a new member of our club. Please call me if you have any questions and to get more info. I would love to hear from you. Greg - 954-937-7788

These guys may or may not still be in Delray.

Back in 1973 I rented a Hobie 14 from a guy on Boca Beach. That started this big adventure.
