Have you tried the [Find a Dealer] button on the top right of Hobie's web pages here?

Best deal meaning cheapest price or best deal meaning best sail?

Try:

Probably the best IWCA sail. You'll need to buy a longer lower batten.

Some of the chatter here implies that Chip's sometimes slow to respond to enquiries about pricing and such.

For a Hobie sail I sent emails to more than ten dealers asking if anybody had something sitting on a shelf someplace. finally found one that was two years old. They don't have a "best before" date.

Hobie offers a white "Resort" Mainsail for $630 - part number 38991050. It is not a radial cut sail like the standard Wave sail but Hobie makes very high quality sails for the $.

Other options include -

- Slo Canvas & The SailStore offer basic Wave sails but they are in the same price range at the Hobie sails

-Whirlwind & Calvert both make high performance Wave sails - They will probably make you generic white dacron sail if you ask.
