Very cool. Thanks! Makes some sense given the early sail number as well. So that would be the second year. Hulls are still solid which is good.

Could you please comment on the sails? They don't look kosher. ;) It does look like a beauty and I'm considering a new set. Also, any comments on the spinnaker?

I've posted pictures of the boat already but here we are doing the first race on the new boat.

Wind was about 7mph at the start of the race and then continued to die off. By the end of the race the water was flat and we were barely moving. Total distance sailed was at least 16 miles. The boat still needs some tuning. I wish I could find something good to read on adjusting everything. The boat feels totally different than our 1983 boat.
I still have yet to see a sail with a higher sail number.
