If we get 30 of us to go in on this... we can stay for $60,000 a night. They have Hobie Getaways!

This is Richard Branson's private island in the British Virgin Islands. He is an avid sailor and has a fleet of Getaways. I am told he can be seen at the Bitter End YC once in a while as he sometimes sails a Getaway over for a Cocktail. When we visit the Bitter End for our Thanks Giving Hobie Family Fun Week, we do a fun sail out and around his Island on one of the days. What a beautiful place!

I think there is a 5 night minimum, so $300,000 should do it! That is just $10,000 each! and sailing is included! :)

Last shot of the video is all Hobie!

I forgot to mention that Air is not included... or water taxi. It's about an hour boat ride from Beef Island / Tortolla.

You "can" get float plane service too!

We'll, we can dream right? :)

Sounds tempting, Matt.

Normally, I would just sell a couple shares of Berkshire Hathaway-A stock and join you, but I've just been invited over to Larry Ellison's island to fly his AC72.

We were there about 10 days ago........not at Necker, but just around the corner at Saba Rock and the Bitter End. We had a 50' cat from Voyage Charters on Tortola. While we were at Saba there were Getaways and Waves zig zagging all through the mooring field. That is one beautiful place to go sailing.........but $60,000 a night is a little strong.

Yep... steep. But, it's not cheap chartering a 50 footer either! Oh to have the dough to spend on a Necker holiday for the family! :)
