Hello everyone, new to this forum. I got into kayak fishing about six months ago and yesterday my wife got me the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts - a brand new 2013 Pro Angler 14! Had it on the water all day yesterday and all I can say is wow! I've got some pics and video I'll try to upload soon.

I would say that is one awesome Christmas gift! Welcome to the Hobie Pro Angler family and have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year in that ride! We will look forward to any pictures you want to share.

Happy Holidays!

Well....that's real nice. Just be careful, this is really addictive. I started out with an Ocean Kayak back in the 90's, then I made the move to the Hobie line of Kayaks.........first a Hobie Quest, then a couple of years later a Hobie Revolution.......last year a Hobie Pro Angler 14. I just purchased the Sail Kit about two weeks ago and can't wait to get back in the water. The question for me right now is.........what next...?

Enjoy the ride!

No kidding, my head is reeling with the possibilities! I bought mine through Mariner Sails in Dallas and they were great! Serously top notch customer service and I got about 15% off the boat (Christmas sale + "last" year model). They also discount accessories for the fisrt month after the initial purchase so its very tempting to go a little crazy!

Also I Would be interested in how the sail kit works.

Cheers!

I have used the sail several times with the PA. It is great if you have been fishing most of the morning and want to move. Even as easy as these boats are to peddle sailing is easier. :-)
