Lake temp at 46 Degrees!

I am so desperate to get my Getaway out but the lake temp is only at 46 degrees. I think I will pull it out of the garage this weekend (the Getaway has priority over the vehicles in the winter time, although the wife doesn't approve) and get it ready to sail. The boat is only a year old but should I be looking out for anything in particular before I take 'er out on the lake? With only about 4 1/2 months of good sailing weather, I will tend to work, eat, sleep and sail. Oh, and thanks for the new Getaway Forum!!
