As the sun sets after a glorious day sailing Lake Bonney in South Australia, I settle back with a few cold ales.
You will notice that I had to tie up the TI as she wanted to continue through the night.
No, I'm not a clever phtographer to capture the sun. It was obscured by the smoke from some of the bushfires we have had in South Australia.
The following day there was no wind. We took out 3 adults and 3 children on the TI. Yes I know
it was overloaded and we stayed within 100m of the shore and all wore life jackets. The kids
jumped in and let go of the front of the TI while we peddled and they raced between the aka and
the hull and tried to grab something at the back, so they weren't left behind. After an hour of
listenning to their squeals of laughter as we peddled flat out, it was time to go back in for a cool
drink.
Now isn't that a versatile craft.
Cheers,
Brian in South Australia
