What is the story behind the Red Rudders at the Hobie 16 Worlds in Oz? (That’s a horse of a different color.) Really cool looking. Is this a new EPO2? Different material? Is this limited to only the Australian Worlds?

Look close. Carbon trailing edge! Those are EPO3 rudders.

They did make some red EPO2 rudders. I have a set, they are more of a "competition orange" and really look awesome!

Yea the red rudders look really bad a$$. They are just red epo3. I am sure after this race they will have to please the people by selling them. But man hope they are not more just cuz they are red! $450 per rudder eeeeeee..... The epo3 also look to be more of a red than the other red epo2's.

The EPO3 rudders at the worlds were a much different color than the red EPO2s.

They were more a "brick red" - kind of "pre-faded" red than the hot red of the EPO2s.

Other than that, they were stock EPO3 - and will still set you back nearly a boat-buck for a pair.
