Here is what I came up with... Material is a cheapo boat cover from walmart. I first cut nearly enough material to make hull covers off of each side starting at the front of the cover designed for a V-hull boat.. The piece I used for the tramp cover is what was left over...
It worked out great! The opening for the trap wires was in a perfect spot with just enough fabric for a hem (pure luck) and this really left only having to add a chunk on each corner and sew up a new hem for the shock cord at the edge... Well.. And a few other details of course.. Like taking it in at the center (that is tripled up) so the reinforced factory corners could be used at the aft corner castings.. An old tent bottom was used for reinforcement at main traveler/jib, and under the loop in the center so if I wanted I could use main halyard to lift it...
All work done on cheapo sewing machine with UV stable thread.. Oh.. and the Walmart cover provided all the shock cord and hooks ect... The balls (blue) are cheapo HF stuff..
Oh yeah... and my patented boat rack... The wheels don't even need to come untied.. The boat sits just above them when parked.. Ya just roll it into place, lift the front about an inch and slide the front blocks under.. Strap it down.. Done.. Easy as could be..
