We're planning on heading to Lake Carlyle in May to get some early season (early for us, we live 200 miles north) sailing in.
How does the lake look this year? I've never been there, and don't know how early you can sail there.
Does anyone have a recommendation as to a good place on the lake to stay? And good launch sites?
Thanks!

You might want to check with these guys.....they used to (still do?) host the Muddy Waters Regatta there....
