I agree that the toilet doors seem to face the wrong way, but just maybe they are on the top of the hill, so you can see Australia from them

I don't know if we will be able to match the banquets that you have on your trips Keith but setting up a table system may be a good move.

I couldn't see that video--some error message.

It looks like a haka table would fit perfectly on that platform. The only problem might be the size of the banquet you spread you lay out.

0900hrs sound good to me. At this stage, looking at WillyWeather we may have a light SE breeze to help push us there. It is forecast to swing around to the NE for our return, which would be great.
The only concern looks to be a 2m swell. Do we have a Plan B if the weather isn't favourable?

Timing sounds good to me. I may have to get you to give me a hand to get the AI off and on the roof racks. My cradles went missing so I'll have to carry it upside down and back to front due to roof rack spacings. And it's just a matter of time before getting it off single handed will damage the car roof. Won't have time to get a tow ball this week.

Yep, we do need a Plan B. I'd like to go somewhere anyway if we can't get out through the heads. Plenty of exploring to do over to the west !

No furries Slaughter, and I suspect I will need help with the trailer too, as the ramp is very shallow. Plan B sounds like an opportunity to head right up into Port Stephens to check out the western end. Mind you 2 metre swells with a followin breeze of 10 knots or so sounds like fun!

Keith, Slaughter is in the group, so there is NO chance of there not being plenty of images/video. In addition Stringy and I (at least) are also similarly equipped (although I cannot necessarily say similarly skilled ), so you are likely so see many viewpoints.

I seem to recall a 2.5m swell last time I went. The predictions are for the same swell this time. Winds look favourable for both Friday and Sunday but it's still a few days out so those predictions can easily change.

As I said, those predictions can easily change. Within the space of 15 hours, Sunday's winds have turned from light but near perfect, to the pits.

....but still a few days to turn around again. If the winds are unfavourable, an option could be to come back on the Saturday and spend Saturday night in Port Stephens somewhere.

Hmmmm, I suspect that the OEM sails on our Islands will be more than enough - no need for fancy headsails here! Still, turning left into inner Port Stephens would not be too shabby a bobbie prize, if that forecast worsens.

It is right on the cusp now, with windward sailing into 15knots getting close to sounding like hard work....
