Inflatable wheels?

Was configuring my PAto go offshore this week and wwhen I was deciding where I wanted stuff. I noticed that the large inflatable wheels will not fit in the supper holes if I use the rear rod holders. They are too wide for me to figure out how to strap them in the cargo area. Has anyone else had the issue or am I missing a easy resolve? Please advise

I think I remember seeing a solution involving putting the cart frame through the back handle rather than the scupper holes. That would keep the cart & wheels out of your cargo area entirely.

yup, anybody ever stick the uprights of the dolly thru the rear handle, wheels down, for a short transport...? I usually roll the PA up on her side to put the dolly in the rear scupper holes... and what about the using the scupper holes each side of the seat? When I have my livewell strapped in, the pick up tube uses one of the same holes in the cargo area..

For on the water storage, I tried putting the cart in the back handle and it fit there nicely but I found that this storage method does not work for me.

What I did not like about this set up is that the cart arms drag in the water. I doubt the increased drag was a big hindrance on speed/effort but the noise generated by the drag was a deal breaker for flats fishing (surely not an issue for offshore fishing).

Another issue to consider is the vertical cart is one more thing your fishing line could get tangled on. Good luck to the person that has to crawl to the stern to untangle the line.

I remove the wheels and tuck them under the bungee cords in the rear. They fit nice and tight and add probably 100 lb of added buoyancy .

With wheels removed, the cart frame fits into the scupper holes, even with rod holder extenders.

If you use a crate of some sort you can use 2 PVC pipes zip tied to the crate in the spacing for the wheel cart.
