We sail on a small salt water lake. Need to pull the Wave out of the water with each sail otherwise barnacles will develop on the hull. Dragging the boat up onto sandy shore is too much for our senior sailors. Any ideas on how to make this an easier task. Would hauling over PVC pipe work? Other ideas.

PVC or Polyethylene pipe works great!

I cut short pieces of PVC pipe and mounted them in between two 2x6's in a ladder fashion. That way I can go a further distance without having to keep moving multiple pipes. If you build 2 pairs, you can go just about anywhere.

Somewhere on this board are pics of the same concept except the tubes are sewn into lengths of tarp. Certainly would be lighter and they would roll up for transport or storage. I just leave my wooden ones on the shore under the tramp. The odd clam digger who passes by is curious but no one has been tempted to grab the ugly things yet.

Beach Track Slide... I designed these for the 21 Sport Cruiser in the early 90's. They worked great and that boat was really heavy. Biggest issue is the boat sliding sideways off the track, but this made them portable (carried on the boat) and the trampoline material under the rungs kept them from sinking in the sand.

I use the PVC ladder idea and mount a trailer winch to a 4 x 4 post. I pull the boat up as far as I dare and then use the winch. Saves the back and reduces the risk of injury.
