Duck Cup roll call

I'm just curious as to who is planning on going. I haven't raced in several years and I'm looking forward to getting back into it. This one was always one of my favorites in the past. I'm planning on going on a Hobie 16 and sailing single handed. Any other 16 sailors planning on going? It's a long drive and I want to make sure that there will be enough people to make a 16 or open class to race against.

Not sure if we know each other but div 9 is trying to get active again. We had 6 boats out at Kerr a few weeks backand governors cup is shaping up to have lots of boats. I'm a last minute decision but I really want to try to make the duck. Contact Garrett Dawkins, he's on here quite a bit, I think he wants to head out for the duck and he has a better handle on what other h16's might be there.

Hey, Jim. I don't think we've met, but I'm sure it won't be long til' we do. I am still planning on going to Duck. I know we all will race on portsmouth anyway, but it's nice to have other 16's to try and beat back to the beach. I know of at least a few that will be there. I may do the Gov. Cup as well now that I know the 16's are making a showing.

That's great to hear about Div. 9. If there is anything I can do to help out, please let me know. I'm located in Fayetteville, so even though I don't have a local body of water I'm not far from many sailing locations.
