No pictures yet, the time will come. After I get feedback from friends, I'll look into getting it rotomolded so everyone can get one.

Thanks for the pic, but I have no idea what I'm looking at. Where does the camera go? Where do you attach it to the boat?
I've seen this picture before when I was researching this topic. I can't remember where, maybe one of your Youtube posts.

OK sorry about that, I did just re-post the last photos due to lack of time. In these two, I've set them up as I would on the boat, using 2 quick pins to secure to forestay adjuster and wind indicator below it. The smaller one has just the gopro point back towards the boat while the larger has both a gobandit facing the boat and gopro facing forward.

Thanks. Let me know when you get that cooler rack ready.
Also, it looks like your wind indicator would be in the picture. How does that work?

It works nice, my girlfriend has her own 16 and like the shorter one to watch where the wind was coming from during her sail. It's helped her understand apparent wind angle and where she keeps her sail during different directions. At 5'2" and 115lbs she is still a little scared of her boat but is getting better watching her own video.

If youtube doesn't show, it's: buxtonbb, First sail of Pamela's season

You can make the down leg longer so the indicator is at the top or out of the video but I don't mind seeing and when you fly a hull it moves to the side or out of view. Most of my time is at 45* or better.

Also a nice place to put the go pro is in the mast

For the 16 mast mount, I drilled out the rivets in the masthead and bolted on a piece of aluminum, that sticks out in front of the mast. It's 12" by 1.25" and 1/4" think and I added a twist along the way. That way, I always get a better view of the windward side of the boat.

Lots of GP mount discussions on the forums. This was the last active thread worth checking out. http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=51054
