So who all is planning to come to the San Diego Classic (Division 2 Championships), in a couple of weeks?

This is one of my favorite regatta's besides Big Bear and Ventura (And it's so close to home) :D I will be there Thursday afternoon, and plan on sailing Friday, so I hope to lots of people there :D

We're going to miss it due to our Dealer meeting taking place that same weekend in Mission Bay. I might shoot down to see everyone later on Sunday after we break down the demo fleet - have fun guys!

Thats too bad!

It was a great regatta. Could have used a few more knotts of wind.

Sat was interesting with about 10kts of steady wind, except for when it came up and blew a blanket of fog over the entire race course.

We ended up pitchpoling driving to the A mark (Crew didn't move back when double trapped), we where able to get the boat back up in under 2 minutes, the on our return to A mark, after the fog moved in, we couldnt see more then 2 boat lengths ahead. Came to A mark, and where surprisingly right on the lay line.

Going downwind, we missed the finnish line by a boat lenght, and ended up finnishing 4th..

Got second place in the entire regatta though :)

Fun weekend all around.

Where was the regatta held? Doing the tourist thing this week in San Diego. Have checked out most of the areas mentioned on the forum.

It was held in South Bay, on the south side of the Coronado Bridge.
