i'm only back to the third hole from the top on the shroud adjusters as far as mast rake. I'll keep you posted as to what will be the fix.

I took the rudders off and measured the holes. Compared to the template, holes were off center as much as 1/4 inch. So, I put them back together and adjusted the cam plate as far forward as possible, this time with a thin walled socket and was able to gain a little forward. I have just about eliminated slop on port side, starboard still has a little play, but not as much as before. I'll check the helm next time it blows when I am off.

Update:
Sailed in 10-15 mph breezes with a fairly neutral helm.
Guess I just needed to adjust it correctly.
