Based on a discussion about the Hobie boat portfolio, I started look at the rotomolded boats. The T2 actually looks very interesting. Are we seeing any class racing of the T2?

How well do the rotomolded hulls stand up over time? Fiberglass can be repaired. What happens to these plastic hulls over time?

As of yet, there is no class racing of the T2. Just not enough critical mass - yet.

The rotomolded hulls hold up very, very well. They are hard to repair - but they almost never need repair, whereas the fiberglass hulls need constant maintenance (scratches, etc that the rotomolded hulls just shrug off).
