Here's a picture from the raw video of Kelly cutting the top off a wave.

After noticing us staying mostly dry while sailing with him on the first leg of his trip, he tried them and is now the top Hobie retailer of my Sprayskirt kits. http://www.plentypupule.com/sprayskirts.htm - (Probably wouldn't have helped on some of these waves!)

I am sorry to announce that Kelly passed a few weeks ago in a hang gliding accident in Las Vegas.. He was a very experienced pilot, no one is exactly sure what happened.

But a P&P kayak fishing tournament this weekend went on as I'm sure he would want. You just have a sense from the vids what kind of guy he was and the challenges of life he enjoyed.

Aloha

Dan

Kelly sounds like someone that I would have loved to have met . I get the feeling he experienced life at a level most will never know. Sorry to hear this.

That is very sad. I did not know him, but, clearly a loss to our community.

Auwe! That hurts.

Kelly was one inspired human. A great waterman, and that is highly respected here.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Dan. My condolences.
