Not a ".99 cent" switch...
It is a reed switch. This is two metal wires in close proximity held within a water proof tube. The switch is turned on and off by moving a magnet molded into the red "switch".
There is a tight tolerance and it seems the magnets may be too powerful or too close to the reeds. Engineers created a spacer to move the magnet away by a fraction and that fixed issues where this was noted.
Contact your dealer to file a claim for the needed part.
Matt....got my new reed switch/spacer in the mail today to hopefully resolve the issue I'm having with the pump tank coming on in the off position but no directions on how to install or where to put this spacer.....any pictures or instructions for this procedure?
Thanks Matt
