Intra-fleet races and BBQs once a month every full moon. Every other weekend just the basic beer and BBQ. Come on out to the midwest for a little sun and fun sometime. Home of the 2007 Division 7 Championships.

HEY! Thats my kid on the right with the Playa Del Sol sail.
This is a great place to sail and have a regatta. Not too far from an interstate and we ALWAYS race gokarts.

I'm going to be in Yankton this coming weekend and was wondering if someone from Fleet 291 could tell me what the schedule is for the racing on Sunday. I'm a relatively new Hobie 16 owner and would like to hang out and watch some racing and ask some questions.

Thanks, Jim

update to sailing
South Dakota

yes the Missouri river near Yankton is a good place to sail. Hobie Beach. BUT There are other places in south Dakota that are very easy to get ones boat in and out of the water. There is usually someone from The Lake Poinsett Sailing Academy that would even give you a hand if you need help, LPSA would recommend Lake Poinsett, and Lake Kampeska club would recommend Lake Kampeska. Both on the Eastern side of the state.
