My brother and sister in law used to go to Winnipesaukee (hereinafter to be called Lake "Winni"
and sail all the time. They had a Hobie 16 for a couple of years, but found that their Mariner 19, with the little cuddy and ample cockpit, was a little more suited for the size of the lake and for gunk-holeing along the shorelines. I have heard that, if you straighened out all of Lake Winni's shoreline, it would go around Lake Ontario. I don't know if it's true, but if you look at the map, I could understand it.
Happy Sails -
