Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Hello, I am new to the group and looking for a place to sail in Northeast Oklahoma. It's been 10 years since I sold my 18' Hobie. At that time Walnut Creek on lake Keystone was pretty active.

Last week I purchased a 16' Hobie (yeah) and we just spent labor day weekend fighting all the drunks on sea doo's. Where have the sailboats gone ?

It's nice to be back, where is everyone ?

Can't help on locations, sorry.

I left sailing for a while and have also just returned.

We did the motorboat thing and jetskis. The ski's are fun with a group but don't have much solo appeal.

I can, however, sail for hours by myself and be very happy.

Hey, I sail on Lake Thunderbird in Norman. We have 6-7 boats that come out regularly. They range from a 67 hobie 14 to an inter20.

Nothing formal but we have a good time. If you can make it down this Sunday we are going to be doing some racing with the local sailing club. The more cats the better, you should try and make it down!

Oh, to find me just look for a Nacra 5.2 or ask for Vernon.
