How do you run the trap shock cord on H 17 with wings? :(

Some run outside the wing, but most of us run inside the wing. Connect a single block to the shroud end at the hull with a small line, about 5 inches, and run the shock cord thru this block. This makes a simple hook up while sitting on the wing, but separates the trap from the shroud. This also prevents wear on the wing cover, and does not require you to reach behind to find the trap to hook up.

There should be a grommet in the tramp on either side for the shock cord to run through.

The arrow in the photo below points to the grommet. Just to the left is the block tied to the shroud that the shock cord runs through.
