What will be the sail colors for the FX One next year?

And when will a different color spinaker be available for the FX One?
Maybe blue like the Tiger.

If we could get either red or blue that would be cool. Both look pretty darn neat.

Yeah, need a more colorful sail. The yellow or the smoke are bland to me. Needs colors like the Fiji Worlds colors.

While the smoke sail is kinda bland, it is a really cool looking sail. It has a really high tech look. Especially when the light is shining from behind. It has a kinda carbon fibre-ish look to it. Alternating panels of the red, and smoke, would be fricken awesome.

Almost makes me wish my main wasn't in such good condition.

I am hoping that there is a Blue FX spinaker available next year. I can then keep it in good condition and use my red one to hack around on. I put my Tiger F18 Spin up but it was a bit to long in the luff.

I think if i had droped the pole down about 6" it would have worked. The sheeting angle seemed OK.

That F18 spin sure looked big on there. Maybe I will rig it next year and give it a try.

Longer pole perhaps? But that will change the sheating angle as well. Unless it will work in your favour. The foot is probably a bit longer so maybe that is the answer.

I think the Tiger pole is the same. As is the mast.

Attach the block higher on the line through the mast?

Thanks Karl,
Those thinge i thought of, but i didn't want to make changes yet. I just flew the spin up the mast.
The Tiger pole is a bit longer, about 3-4 ". I figured I would just raise the spin halyard block up about 4" and try that. Then put it back down for racing as there is a max height it can be by the rules.

I figured that I could use the big spn on the monday night racing we do just to mess around with it.
So I needed the changes if any to be quick ones.
