I now have a Hampton Inn that is 133 a night super close to the event site. Contact me if you need info about that or just google them up.

WOW ! That's a great price compared to what Hampton charged us. We're staying at that Hampton. What do we have to do to get that rate Jim?
Thanks

Brickell Avenue Inn. People can call the hotel directly for reservations at 305-854-2070. Participants should ask for the Alex Caviglia Bluewater Regatta rate which is $ 139 per night breakfast included. Hurry up, there are only a few left...

Not a lot so far, less than 5, but I don't have the recent info as it all goes through Shake A Leg. But hopefully we get a bunch at the last minute, this is how it goes with the windsurfers, 5 sign up and 50 show up! Conditions are excellent, wind has been great, two day cold snap where it got out of the eighties, but back to normal pattern now.

Hello everyone! My name is Miles Moore and I live in the Coeur d'Alene Idaho/Spokane WA. area. We just finished our winter Hobie Island Frozen Buns Regatta. It was a big hit.

Related to sailing or pedaling we have developed 2 divisions at our regatta. Division 1 is sail power only and division 2 is pedal and sail power. If you are in a race and then decide to pedal then you automatically end up in division 2 for the rest of the regatta. We find this works best because there are some that just want to sail and some that are old or have a disAbility that just can't compete with the fit young Island skippers. Also in the starting sequence you can pedal until the 1 minute gun before the start if you are in the sail only division.

Go to www.sailcda.com and click on the Hobie Club link and you will see some beutiful pictures of the event.

In Aug. up here we are having a big N. American Hobie Island Challange in a remote location on Swan Lake. I will post info about this event on this forum soon.

I just heard about the Island Nationals and wish I could attend but unfortunately its planned during the boat show season here in the Pacific NW.
