I just orderd my AI and want to perform your mainsheet block mounting mod but after an hour of searching I just cant find the Thread.
Can you point to it for me please?

Could this be it although I think it is mainly for the Adventure and not the AI?

Thanks stringy and you're right. It is good for the small sail, but the factory rigging for the larger AI sail looks good to me. Skymax, if you're using the small sail with the AI then the modified position should give you the best result.

To be honest though, when using the small sail on the AI, I use the existing AI sheet (out of laziness) but make it a single purchase instead of a double purchase to let the small sail respond faster. It may not be quite as efficient but since it's already rigged you can pop your sail up on a moments notice and slip on the "S" hook in a blink!

Here's a couple of shots showing the small sail sheeted with the AI rigging. The second pic shows the sail partially furled using the small sail adapter with the factory roller reefing set up. 8)

I have not noticed a need to change the sheet angle of my AI. It seemed pretty even to me.
