Here's a report from Dan Kulkoski:

Quote:
Day 3

Again it seems to be slowly slipping away from the US. The winds were much lighter today. Greg Raybon got two bullets in the morning...thanks to the help of a Hobie 18 (another story)

Although neither Greg nor I are giving up, it seems like soon we are going to be fighting for 2nd place and hope for at least a similar situation as 1999, Team USA 2nd and 3rd.

In other news - the girls (Kat and Judy) managed a bullet today! Neeedless to say they won't do their bullet shot!!! Greg on the other hand....wants more.

It is supposed to be windier tomorrow, then a lay day (New Years day) before another chain sale (because all the dogs have blown off their chains). Nothing like we ever see in the US yet alone even think about sailing in.

We are learning alot, for example we learned early to drive on the wrong side, but did you know when you pass somebody on the sidewalk, you also keep left?

Stay tuned

Dan
