Hi everybody!
I have just purchased a Trifoiler.
I'm extremely fascinated by this boat. Now I'm working to do some improvement on the outfitting. Can anybody give me any suggestions for a beginner like me?
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi yerself. I bought #23 last fall and just flew it for the first time a couple
of weeks ago. Tell us what your hull number is and we can probably make
some suggestions.

Also, have you joined the mailing list yet?

Hi Jonathan;
my sail number is 147.
I don't have the hull number available now.
I'm taking some practise at the moment.
The boat seems to have achived a good set up and goes onto foil properly.
Which is in your experience the lower and higher wind limit?
Any general suggestions?

Ciao

I'm definitely not the guy to be asking any sailing questions - at least
yet. I just haven't had enough time on the water in this thing.

Your boat is pretty late production, so I suspect a lot of the upgrades that
were issued have already been applied. But you should download the
package of revision notes (ECNs) that were issued by the factory between
October 94 and February 99. Dan was talking about posting them here, but
I don't know whether that's been done yet. You can find them on Cliff
Sojourner's site:

http://www.employees.org/~cls/trifoiler/

That should tell you exactly where you are in the production history and
whether there's anything you should be upgrading.

Dear Jonathan,
thank you very much for your indication. I found the information on Cliff's site very intersting.
Actually my trifo has been already implemented with all the upgrading desgribed in the letters.
Now I have just to learn to fly as better as possible.
Keep in touch!
Many Thanks again.

Good to hear. Where are you, anyway?
