I am going to be keeping my boat somewhere different this year and the preferred method for launching is by using one of the hoists on the dock. Does Hobie make a bridle designed for the Getaway? If not, are there other suggestions?

I made a 3 point harness using a 4" galvized ring, 1/2" non stretch cheap rope and 3 schakles. All three lines are 65" from the hoist ring to the end of the loop that goes around the the cross bars (1 to each side in the front and 1 to the center in back). This results in the bow being 2' to 3' lower than the stern when lifted which keeps the mast and rigging clear of the hoist arm. In 5 years of use I have had no problems with a 3 vs 4 point hoist and it is 1 less line to fasten and unfasten each time.

bob, when you say the front crossbar, do you mean the middle one? Because two 65in lines won't reach in the middle from the front and back crossbars
