I kept getting my jib lines tangled up in the area behind the cooler in the mast. I have heard of installing anti-tangle lines, anyone have a picture of such?

I don't have a picture, but basically what we do on the H18 is to tie a bungee to the dolphin striker or front crossbar out near the hull, lace it up through the diamond wires on the mast, and then back down to the other side of the crossbar. This keeps the jib sheets away from the mast base.

Basically same as above but hang the bungee over the top end of the boom crank handle. Matt mentions drilling holes in the cabin to run the shock cord through. I hated the idea of my boat no longer being a virgin after I drill holes in her, but, alas I finally did add two eyebolts even with the top of the foam bumpers (behind the cooler) but to the side of them. They're pretty much out of sight.
