Walt Disney productions "Morning Light" is out in theatres Oct. 17....

"15 young sailors, 6 months of intense training, one chance at the brass ring. An exciting true-life documentary that tells the story of the crew of "Morning Light" as they match wits and skills in a dramatic 2,500-mile show down against top professionals in the 2007 Transpacific Yacht Race."

Very dissapointed. Doesn't look like it will be in theatres in my area. I'll have to buy the DVD when it comes out.

Great Movie! Our Yacht Club had an event in support of the youth sailing program. We met a few of the sailors, and Stan Honey was there talking about tactics. See it.

Piet Van Os, Navigator used to crew for me on the Hobie 20 and the Hobie Magic 25. He was a great kid and now he is a great young man. The only downside, he doesn't beg to rig and sail my boat anymore...
