Cork is a good time. Fun little town - great fresh water sailing, I would really love to sail in that event!!! (If only I were a H16 sailor) :(

Hey JBernier, you only have to sail a H16 to be a H16 sailor. It's like the old song" if you can't be with the one you love, love the one your with"Just replace that with "if you can't be with the boat you love....... :)

$1 U.S. is now worth $1.27 Canadian. This years North Americans are going to be the best deal ever (if you live in the U.S) :( .Especially with the great rates on accomadations.
BTW tried my hand at my own blog site.

Looking at the NOR each day the warning signal is at 1200.It will be pretty hard to get 7 races in one day starting that late

This review of the regatta site from Mark Schneider

"When the Tornado fleet called Kingston home....

The college was renting the dorm rooms out for a very cheap rate.

They have a campground about 5 minutes from the boat park that will take tents or RV's. The campground also has a launch ramp and some beach for 5 or 6 boats if you want to stay away from the busy boat park.

All in all it's the best venue in North America for racing".

Before heading over to race in Kingston (Canadian F18's) a couple of summers ago, I was notified that the campground is no longer in existence. This was our first choice for accommodations. Ended up renting a room at the college across from the FORMER campground. There is no place close-by to camp. If your considering the 16 NA's...I would recommend booking a room now.
