I have a new HOBIE OUTBACK with all the bells and whistles (sailkit, baitwell, and ama sidekicks, has not touched water yet!!

I want to install both but, still looking for solution. There is a problem because this is a 2008 model, so I have to consider...Rudder handle, baitwell, and paddling not to mention sailing. Have looked at almost every forum here and no solutions!

Any Ideas would be very useful,

New Hobie Owner Steve

You may consider placing the SideKick kit forward. Depends on your pedal length I'd guess. If not using the full stroke, the amas forward of the drive would give stability in fishing, sailing and be clear of the LiveWell and paddling.

I do appreciate the reply Matt!Hopefully, someone will look here! I do realize I could take the AMA's back and rig ram holders but, prefer not to.

Please more replies

why do you feel the need for the outrigger? if its for sailing only you could use them while sailing then remove when the bait tank was in there. what about behind the tank, I'm at home so I can't look to see how much room is behind there.

Sorry in advance if Im jumping in a little late and you have already solved your issue.
The sidekicks can always be deflated, detached and stowed inside the hull.
Just pull them out and reinflate them when ready to set sail etc.
Hope that helps
Have fun
