Never got video. There are about 20 of them out there now. Maybe I can get together with Crobie and get some film this summer.

Making a video would be a lot of fun!

Nope. I've got a nice digital and a plastic bag and duct tape. It's purpose built for such an endeavor.

Jeremy I got a Go Pro DH3 if you want to borrow it. 1 hour recording per card.

I'm interested in this setup.... I'm looking for a new boat, an older F18 or similar, but I'm afraid of the extended rigging time, the dagger board and the fiberglass hulls. Although I like the performance that comes with the dagger board and the fiberglass. It's I trade of I know, and I'm about to make the jump...... But with what I currently have and this kit maybe I can squeeze some more performance and fun out of my current rig. I've sailed the Getaway to the edge and do feel I have outgrown the boat as a sailor, hence my need for a more complex boat...

Anyways, I'd like to see some picture and if it becomes available. A short video of the rigging and some sailing shot with a camera phone or something would be great.

Thanks for the R&D of this kit.

Thanks for sharing. So $1300 you said? Is that with everything needed to do this conversion other than the actual Getaway of course :)
